Transformed by Jesus...

Belonging and growing

Behind everything we do at King’s Church is a shared experience of Jesus' life-changing power. We believe passionately that God is both real and active, and that deciding to embrace his love is the only way to experience true peace, freedom and purpose.

Belonging...

We are transformed by Jesus through belonging to him and his family - the church. Our meetings (on Sundays and through the week) express this deep sense of intimacy with God. We share our lives and our abilities, helping each other in good times and through challenging situations. We share regular stories of God healing physical illnesses, helping people out of debt and bringing mental and spiritual freedom.

...and Growing

We're also transformed by growing in our life with Jesus. As we learn more about God and as we experience his power in life's circumstances, we develop spiritually and get better at reflecting God's perfect character in our relationships.

Lifestories

King's Church is full of people with great stories to tell. Here are just some of them...

I was pretty good at looking as if I wasn’t interested (she told me later) but she was determined to tell me anyway. She was definitely the ‘religious type’ – I remembered that she had dabbled with Christianity when we were young but that had worn off.

JC
JC grew up in Potter's Bar, London, and went to church from an early age. When very young, he went because he had to - his mum was a Christian and couldn't leave him at home on his own. "After that, as I got older, I went because my friends were there - not to mention pretty girls", JC remembers. "But gradually my desire to learn more for myself kept me coming back".
